💡 Charging Level Guide
Level 1 (120V): Standard wall outlet, ~1.4 kW. Very slow — 3–5 miles/hr.

Level 2 Single-Phase (240V): NACS/J1772 wall charger, 7.2–7.4 kW. Adds ~25–30 miles/hr. Most common home setup.

Level 2 Three-Phase (240V): 3-phase wall charger, 11–22 kW. Adds ~75–100 miles/hr. Requires 3-phase power supply.
📅 Tip: Off-Peak Charging
Most CA utilities offer EV Time-of-Use (TOU) plans with off-peak rates as low as $0.10–$0.16/kWh (typically midnight–7am). Schedule your Tesla to charge overnight using the Tesla app to cut your charging costs by up to 50–60%.
